Good Friday Walk of Witness
Traditionally, on Good Friday morning, members of Dursley Tabernacle join with other Christians from the local area to carry a large wooden cross through the town and to the top of Cam Peak — a local vantage point. The cross is erected on the summit and stays there until Easter Sunday. En route a number of ‘stations’ are observed. At each station an Easter reading is read, a hymn sung and a prayer shared. This year Dursley Tabernacle were responsible for the first station.
