Church Retreats and Holidays
Occasional retreats and holidays are organised providing the opportunity for people to go away together to relax and find spiritual refreshment. We have had week long holidays on Holy Island Northumberland at the URC St Cuthbert’s Centre. We have been to Corrymeela Centre for Reconciliation in Northern Ireland. We went to Lee Abbey in Devon for a church weekend in 2011. We have been having church family based weekends at the Sheldon Centre in Devon since 2012. Groups have attended the Greenbelt Christian Arts Festival and Spring Harvest in April.
Pilgrimage to the Holy Land 5-12th November 2016.

Simon writes: ‘A journey to the place where Jesus lived and ministered is the ultimate in pilgrimage. I have been a couple of times and to walk in the footsteps of Jesus transforms your understanding of the Bible and enrich your faith.
To go with others is a special experience too. I shall be offering spiritual insight as we journey together. We will also have a local guide to get the most out of our visits.

Sheldon 2016
Church family weekends away are important to us at the Tab – we endeavour to organise a break away every year. We have just returned from an awesome weekend in Sheldon http://www.sheldon.uk.com/ and will be planning another adventure for 2017…watch this space!
