Mission Bluefields

I’m surrounded by mosquito nets, steel-toe boots, first aid kits and the rest of the paraphernalia that a busy, untidy family create…

We now have just over 2 weeks to do the last bits of preparation before we start our mission trip to Bluefields, Nicaragua.  There is still lots to do! We need to make sure that we have suitable resources to deliver a fun, fabulous and meaningful holiday club to 100+ children in Bluefields… Some of us have been working hard to learn a little Spanish – whether our heads will work fast enough to make any sense, who knows!

Our work boots are hopefully all worn in now – they need to be comfortable for our work to complete the third of three new schoolrooms in Bluefields.  We’re going to have some big blank walls to fill with artwork (can’t wait!!).

We’d welcome prayers for the team as we embark on a life-changing 3 weeks away. We hope we can make a meaningful difference to the communities out in Bluefields.
